Times, the State Dept. articulated that its supplemental environmental impact statement is only a draft and does not offer recommendations for action on the $7-billion project, which would bring petroleum from the oil sands of Alberta, Canada, to refineries on the Gulf Coast of Texas.

I am so glad this is not going to happen.

We do not need cheaper oil to help the economy grow.

The US does not 10,000 more jobs ASAP. Jobs that are well paying and can easily support a family.

The only thing in the way is obumer, and the only problem with that is that he can't handle the truth. Nothing matters to him. It is all about agenda.

Old news. Let Canada refine their dirty crude and supply the northern country, instead of destroying our farmland.

It will have minimum impact until the first spill in an area that they can't readily access with men and equipment.

Compared to existing, "leaky" pipelines?

And how about reports about shoddy pipes already? With no outside inspections? We should just "trust" them?

The environmental impact is sort of irrelevant when the biggest refiner on the gulf coast bails out on Keystone. Valero is buying rail cars to get the oil where it needs it not where Keystone will deliver.
